Performance Anxiety

WELL WELL WELL it's 2008!

The last couple weeks of the year closed out with the big VF holiday shindig, time in Winnipeg, and a raucous NYE DJ gig at Lee's Palace---an exceedingly busy schedule wrapping up a very busy year!

NYE was an intense as experience as it could be, with a sold-out show, awesome band performances, and...only one near-fatality as some fan got it into his head that climbing the speaker wall was a good idea, only to fall and be removed by paramedics before the Golden Dogs' second set. (I had the intimidating role of stretching for time, attempting to satisfy the audiences' unending lust for the Classic Rock anthems).

The Dogs came back out and blew the crowd away with more of their own material plus some incredible covers, including Under Pressure, Down By The River, and Reelin' in the Years. Overall a very memorable experience that I was pleased and honoured to be a part of.

2008 brings some changes in extra-curricular activities, with more DJing and promoting on the horizon. Just can't beat this (disco) fever!
